Isle of Blak

The Isle of Blak is an island which is contained within the country of Kulpania. Its largest settlement is Awalt, with an estimated population of around 7,350. The town of Awalt is situated on at the intersection of two of the island's major roads, A782 and A785. The Isle of Blak is situated a considerable distance away from the rest of the country, with the nearest section of Kulpan territory being 60 miles away. However, there is a regularly scheduled ferry service to and from the mainland, operated by the CapitalConnect rail company. Isle of Blak is its own county, despite its rather small size, and its county council is situated in the island's largest settlement, Awalt. The island does not speak Kulpan at all, because of its independent history, and instead speaks Blakian.
